Whispar
A chat you can leave in the middle of a sentence
If talking on camera is the part you want to skip, this is a text thread with one person. You do not have to perform, and you do not have to stay.
The link has a code. A badge stays on the visitor's device if they start a chat. We don't store who invited whom.
Nothing is watching you
There is no camera preview and no microphone meter. The other person sees text. You can take a moment before you reply. A typing indicator is the only “live” signal, and it only shows while someone is actually typing.
You do not owe an opener
The searching screen can suggest a question. Those lines are prompts for you, not a claim about the other person, and you can ignore them. A short hello is enough. Silence until you are ready is also allowed.
Leaving is a normal button
Next and End are in the header, not buried. Esc or a left swipe also skips. The product does not scold you for a short chat, and it does not show a streak that punishes a missed day.
Questions
Do I have to talk about myself?
No. You can ask something small, answer something small, or leave.
Will I be put on the spot in a group?
No. The random chat is one other person.
