Whispar

Text only, including the permissions

The product does not have a video mode hidden in a menu. Chat is typed. The site asks the browser not to grant camera, microphone, or location.

Start chatting

The link has a code. A badge stays on the visitor's device if they start a chat. We don't store who invited whom.

What you will not see

No camera preview, no “enable video” switch, and no call timer. If you open the old video path, it redirects to the homepage. The composer is a text field with a send button.

Why the format is narrow

A typed chat can be read at your own pace, left without ending a call, and filtered for a few kinds of junk before the other person sees them. It is also easier to misuse with a pasted scam. The filter blocks some of that, and Report is still there.

Phone layout

The thread is a column of bubbles, with your messages on one side and theirs on the other. The composer stays at the bottom of the screen, including when the phone keyboard opens.

Questions

Does the site request my camera?

No. Camera, microphone, and location are turned off in the permissions policy.

Can I send a photo?

No. The composer sends text. Stickers in the tray are typed tokens, not uploads.
