Whispar

Text chat with a random stranger

Whispar pairs you with one person for a private text conversation. You do not make an account, and the chat is not a public room.

Start chatting

The link has a code. A badge stays on the visitor's device if they start a chat. We don't store who invited whom.

How matching works

Add up to five interest tags if you want. If someone already waiting shares a tag, you are paired with them. If nobody does, you get the next person in the text line so you are not stuck waiting for a perfect overlap. The screen tells you whether the match shared a tag or was random.

While you are talking

You will see when the other person is typing. Next ends the chat and puts you back in line. Report and Block are on the same screen. A basic filter drops profanity, repeated spam, and links before the other person sees them.

What this is not

There is no feed, no profile, and no follower count. Whispar does not invent a user total. The number on the homepage is the count of browsers that pinged in the last minute, and it is omitted when that count cannot be loaded.

Questions

Do I need an account to text a stranger?

No. Confirm that you are 18 or older and tap Start chatting. A session token is stored in your browser for that visit.

Are text messages saved?

They are queued only long enough to deliver to the other person, then removed from that queue. Whispar does not keep a transcript of random chats.
