Whispar
A conversation is not a friend request
Some people use a stranger chat because they want company. Whispar can give you one conversation. It does not add anyone to a friends list, and it cannot promise a friendship.
The link has a code. A badge stays on the visitor's device if they start a chat. We don't store who invited whom.
What you can do in one chat
You can talk as long as you both want. If both of you tap Connect, the thread celebrates that and you can keep talking. If only one person taps it, nothing is announced as mutual. There is no follow button after you leave.
What the product refuses to be
There is no profile, no follower count, and no “people you may know.” Interest tags are optional hints for matching, not a dating questionnaire. The guidelines ask you not to push for private contact details.
A practical expectation
You might have a good talk and then both leave. That is a complete use of the product. If you wanted a lasting contact, this site is a poor tool on purpose: when the chat ends, the messages are not kept for you to reopen tomorrow.

Can we stay in touch after Next?
Not inside Whispar. The thread ends, and there is no account to find the person again.
Does Connect add a friend?
No. It only marks that both people in this chat tapped it. It does not create a profile or a second channel.
