Whispar

Talk to strangers, one at a time

Whispar is for a single anonymous conversation, not a crowded room. You talk to one stranger. When you want someone else, you hit Next.

Start chatting

The link has a code. A badge stays on the visitor's device if they start a chat. We don't store who invited whom.

Anonymous on purpose

You do not give a name, email, or phone number. The site keeps a random session token and a one-way hash of your network address for rate limits and bans. It does not build a public profile.

Two ways to be paired

The main button starts an instant random chat, using interest tags when both people set them. If you would rather write how you feel and wait for a slower match, that original Whispar flow is still at the start page.

Leave whenever you want

End closes your side. Next puts you back in line and tells the other person you left. Block keeps that pair from being matched again during the session.

Questions

Will strangers see my name?

No name is collected. They only see the messages you send.

How many people are online?

The homepage shows the number of browsers that sent a presence ping in the last minute. It is not a lifetime user total, and it is hidden if the count cannot be read.

Is this for people under 18?

No. Whispar asks you to confirm you are 18 or older before a chat starts, and the terms require it.
